Morris K. Udall Park – Facts & Importance
Morris K. Udall Park is a major 173-acre recreational and community hub located at 7290 E. Tanque Verde Rd in Tucson, Arizona. Opened in 1982 and named after Congressman Morris K. Udall, the park provides a wide range of amenities, including sports fields, tennis and pickleball courts, a recreation center, playgrounds, open turf, a dog park, and paved walking paths that support active lifestyles for people of all ages. As one of Tucson’s largest multi use parks, Udall plays an important role in promoting community wellness, offering vital green space within the desert city, and serving as an adaptable landscape capable of supporting current and future recreational needs. Its scale, diverse programming, and community presence make it a valuable model when imagining long-term, climate-resilient park futures in Tucson.Tap To View Design
